2. Bright Futures Application Information
   1. Seniors should apply even if they plan to attend outside the state of Florida.  Students who do not apply by graduation forfeit all future eligibility.
   2. Online application found at: https://www.floridastudentfinancialaidsg.org/SAPHOME/SAPHOME
   3. Make sure you are accurate with your (student’s) SS#, DOB, official name, email address, graduation date, etc.
   4. ALL correspondence regarding your application and scholarship awards will occur through your Bright Futures account.

• Community Service documentation – Submit all together to Mrs. Behara in Guidance. Be sure to KEEP A COPY for your records.
• TWO NOTIFICATION DATES:
• To earn BF in first evaluation (7 semester review- notification in March): students must earn the required GPA after completion of 1st semester, the required test scores by January 2026 and submit documentation of service hours and completed online application by Tuesday, January 13th, 2026 (Hours must be completed by end of 1st semester.)
• To earn BF in second evaluation (8 semester review- notification in August):  students must earn the required GPA after completion of 2nd semester, the required test scores by June 2026 and submitted documentation of service hours and completed online application by graduation. Community Service documentation forms MUST be completed and submitted to Mrs. Behara by Friday, May 15, 2026.

• Transcripts: If you need an unofficial grade history for scholarship/college purposes, then you can obtain that by clicking on "Grades" in your FOCUS account and printing out the "Grades" page.

1. UNOFFICIAL TRANSCRIPTS
   1. Log into FOCUS
   2. Click on Grades
   3. If only the current year is shown, click “detailed grade report”
   4. Print by clicking the printer icon on the left side of the screen
2. OFFICIAL TRANSCRIPTS
   1. Seniors - The following link is for current Seniors (class of 2025) to request transcripts: Forms Office Pages Response
   2. Current Students - Please be advised that current students will need to see the   registrar to make a request of a transcript (Unofficial/Official). The registrar is located on the 2ndfloor in the admin building.
   3. Alumni and Former Students - Students who have graduated from Chiles High School and students who have previously attended Chiles High School may request a transcript using the following District link:

• IMPORTANT NOTE:  If you have any questions regarding  requesting a transcript you may contact the Registrar, Mrs. Majid.

Students may utilize Virtual as an option to re-take classes or take a class for a variety of reasons. Chiles students may take classes via Virtual School at no cost.  Students must meet with their school counselor prior to enrolling.
